Ingredients

  Rice
650g Chicken breasts
2 Onion
2 Pepper
3 Clove garlic
3 Spring onions
1 tsp Sesame seeds
2 tbsp Honey
6 tbsp Cornflour
  Cooking oil
2 tbsp Sriracha
5 tsp Dark soy
  Paprika powder
  Chili flakes

Instructions

Cooking mode

  1. Cook the rice.
  2. Slice the chicken breasts in to strips and season with salt, pepper and 2 tbsp of the light soy sauce, toss in cornflour
  3. Add oil to the pan until 1/2 cm deep and add the chicken, flipping half way. Meanwhile mix together the sauce ingredients: honey, soy and sriracha
  4. Once cooked remove chicken from pan and set aside, and remove some of the oil
  5. Add the sliced pepper and onion to the pan and fry for 3-4 minutes then add garlic and fry for another minute
  6. Add the chicken back to the pan and add in the sauce, stir on high heat until thickened and coated
  7. Top with spring onions and sesame seeds

Heel erg lekker, wel zonde dat je zo veel olie moet gebruiken en vervolgens moet weggooien. Zorg dat je ruim genoeg saus hebt, anders is de rijst heel droog denk ik.
