Ingredients

300 g Pasta
500 g Mince beef (5% fat)
  Salt
  Pepper
1 Onion
3 tsp Garlic puree
1 tbs Tomato purée
4 tbs Red pesto (reduced fat)
400 ml Beef or chicken stock
100 g Cream cheese
120 g Cheese (cheddar and mozzarella)
  Parsley
  Chilli flakes

Instructions

Cooking mode

  1. Pop your pasta on to boil with a good amount of salt.
  2. Meanwhile season and cook the beef until browned then add in the onion.
  3. Cook until the onion is soft then add in the garlic, tomato purée and the pesto and cook for a minute or so.
  4. Then add the stock and cream cheese, turn up the heat a little and allow to reduce down.
  5. Once the pasta is done, drain and pop into the sauce adding a little pasta water.
  6. Give it a good mix and top with grated cheese and pop it under the grill or in the oven until golden and bubbling.
  7. Garnish.
  8. Serve and enjoy.
